The Law on tourist activity emits only one type of insurance in the implementation of tourism activities - medical travel insurance in case of sudden illness and accidents (hereinafter - the insurance leaving abroad) (Article 17). It should be noted that the Federal Service has already given its interpretation of Article 17 of the Law on tourist activity with respect to procedures for obtaining medical insurance policy with tourists, in terms of protection of tourists as consumers.
